CTET Eligibility Criteria
There are two papers in the exam. Paper I for Class I-V calls; the participant should have at least 10+02 exam qualifications and a D.led or equivalent.
For Parer -II is for class Vi-VIII class. To appear for this paper, the candidates should have graduated in a relevant subject and scored at least 50% marks aggregate and a B.Ed in real-time method papers from NCTE-recognized institutions. However, the 5% marks will be relaxable fir the candidates of reserved categories.

What are the Qualification Marks?
As you already know, there are two papers for two different grades of classes. Both pieces consist of 150 marks; to qualify, the candidate must have scored 60%, which means 90 out of 150. The qualified candidates will get a CTET qualification certificate, which will be validated for lifetimes. By showing this certificate, candidates can apply for teaching posts in the central government teaching posts.
Please note that a 5% qualifying mark is relaxed, but the candidates of reserved categories.
Application Fes for CTET January 2024
To apply for the CETET Exam on January 21014, the participant must pay the following application charges per their categories.
- General/ OBC (NCL) (Only Paper I or II): Rs. 1000/-
- General/ OBC (NCL) (Both Paper I & II): Rs. 1200/-
- SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Person (Only Paper I or II): Rs. 500/
- SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Person (Both Paper I & II): Rs. 600/-

The CBSE has already commenced the date for filing out the application form for the CTET in January 2024.
