Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as an Administrative Support Associate.
An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (36 hours/week) structured as three, convenient, 12-hour shifts. This is an onsite position at one of our EmUrgentCare sites, with some, reimbursable, travel required.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist all patients that report to the front desk
  • Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • Interact with a diverse patient population
  • Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration
  • Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in
  • Schedule follow up appointments and referrals as needed (check out)
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members
Requirements:
All candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID to be considered.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
  • No experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills preferred
  • Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!

This is a medical billing position for a physicians practice. Providing efficient and timely follow up of delinquent and denied accounts from third party payers is an essential part of this role. This position is responsible for securing revenue for services provided by physicians of Albany Med by competing appeals, phone calls, and account review.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required. AAS degree is preferred.

  • Proficiency in office software including Excel and Word

Job Summary

This role will provide complex executive support to the GM for Flex GBS and member of Board for Flex, India. This role will provide high-level administrative and program support.

We are on the hunt of a dynamic EA who is always willing to learn and fully immerse themselves within the team. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to go beyond the day-to-day responsibilities of an Executive Assistant and demonstrate the ability to contribute to a multifaceted Business Analyst role.

 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage complex calendars, cadences, team meetings including vetting, prioritizing, and providing recommendations
  • Provide insight to the regional head on the trends and drivers behind the results and prepare reports on findings
  • Provides the leader with background information, meeting summaries and/or supporting documents in preparation for scheduled appointments, meetings and engagements;
  • Contribute to leadership meetings by taking notes and tracking action items
  • Assist with event planning and coordination for team meetings, all-hands meetings, summits etc.
  • Provide end-to-end complex domestic and international travel planning, including proactive planning of external partner meetings in tandem with planned business travel to drive schedule efficiency.
  • Draft detailed travel itineraries and provide remote assistance with logistics and travel arrangements with input from traveler, including visa processing
  • Handle confidential and time-sensitive materials and manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders
  • Minimum 4+ years experience supporting a VP-level leader or above in any scoped business or a Director-level leader
  • The ideal candidate should have abilities in business acumen; strategy formulation and P&L understanding; data comprehension; project management
  • Should possess an eye for details and be able to aggregate and interpret data
  • High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in handling Zoom/MS Team (all virtual meeting platforms), in workplace
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power-point), with an aptitude to learn new software and systems
