Requirements

The Senior Software Engineer will be a key member of our customer’s development team, requiring a good understanding of, and practical production experience with web based enterprise application development. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for Java development including new feature development and upgrades.

  • Requires the ability to work on projects both individually and in a team setting, and develop Java applications of advanced complexity.

  • Work directly with customers to design and develop new product features

  • Collaborate with fellow developers and business analysts to determine business and programming needs and then develop and implement technical requirements using a rapid development approach.

  • Communicate status updates to management, and interact with other developers to coordinate and collaborate on this project throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Multithreading experience is must along with Java-7 features

  • Resource should be having a good Core Java skills in multithreading, Thread pooling, well versed with Java-7 features e.g. annotation, generics etc.

  • Capable enough to understand the existing framework and do modification in existing framework.

  • Experience in Java/J2EE, Struts, Hibernate, Spring and other tools

  • Knowledge in using JS frameworks such as angular.js

  • Resource should have good knowledge in terms with JDBC concepts and transactions.

  • Should have excellent knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Should have excellent knowledge Performance tuning.

  • Worked on Application Development using Agile methodology.

  • Good to have / know Java Scheduling Framework (Quartz) experience.

  • Good to have / know java based Pentaho Kettle ETL Framework
